DisAbled SPORT - Dis+Abled SPORT sports designed to be played by people with physical, visual disabilities alongside with able bodied; an innovative approach to increase Social Inclusion and Equal Opportunities

Project’s objectives: To use innovative combination of Paralympic, Traditional and other sports to increase social inclusion and integration, diversity of people with physical and visual disabilities (PwD) with able-bodied (AbP). To go beyond the current scheme of inclusion of PwD in sport where the world of sport is divided into two separate sports of PwD and of AbP.There were only attempts to include PwD in the AbP sport. Project initiate a new trend in sport combining PwD&AbP in one sport . Specific objectives: To create by Consortium the Good Practice Guide (GPG) with 40-60 selected sports possible to pratice jointly by PwD&AbP. To transfer knowledge through educational workshops, events and webinars on practical utility of selected sports,at least 500 beneficiaries, To create Interactive Web.Platform (IWP) -source of deliverables incl. database of selected sports with GPG, instructionals fims (IF) etc. To set up a network of 4 Project Partners incl. 1 Newcomer and 1 Associated Partner. To expand possibilities of PwD to participate in sport: at least 1000 overall beneficiaries. Objectives are consistent with Horizontal Policy priority “Inclusion and diversity in all fields of…sport” and Specific priority “Combating violence…discrimination and intolerance in sport”. Project is designed in Eco-friendly way. Assumptions: - gathering information related to using sports for project aims. Open-accessed results, - organizing Technical and Educational Workshops, Promo-Eduactional Events and Webinars to develop the methodology of selected sports, to introduce them into practice, to promote them, -creating IWP for distribution of project results, deliverables, education and dissemination - dissemination, communication, evaluation activities. Outputs: - a digital tool: open-accessed GPG with 40-60 sports and IF - Workshops, Events and Webinars organised in 4 countries -131 Tasks, beneficiaries : Partners, schools, sport clubs, NGOs, institutions -500 beneficiares.
