The Water adventure games for families project is initiated by the Consult Group Association (Vidin, Bulgaria) in partnership with the organizations Water and rowing club - Bononia, Bulgaria; Calafat - Duiven Association, Romania and Vega Youth Center, Serbia. The length of the project is 18 months and the activities are grouped in one work package, as follows: Work Package 1: WAG4F. The project presents a unique model that connects sports teams with families. With the realization of this project, we aim to encourage families to engage in physical activity by granting them the opportunity to participate in interesting and attractive sports activities, namely adventure water competitions. The main goal of the project is to promote participation in sports and physical activity through cross-border cooperation and promotion of voluntary activities in sport, in particular for the development of family sports and providing equal opportunities for participation in sports activities. The specific objectives of the project are: โ€ข Encouraging the participation of families in sports activities aimed at social inclusion, equal opportunities and awareness of the importance of physical activity as health-improving, through increased participation and equal access to sport for all; โ€ข To encourage volunteering in sports in Bulgaria, Romania and Serbia; โ€ข Developing networks of organizations and building capacity to work at European level, through exchange of good practices and methods sports-related methods; โ€ข Increasing the variety of opportunities for physical activity by conducting adventure water games for families; The direct target groups of the project include: โ€ข Families with children with no age restrictions; โ€ข Professionals and volunteers in the field of sports; Expected results of the project: training seminar; creating models of water adventure games; building teams of volunteers; creation of an internet platform; adventure water games events for families;
