BETTALE - Introducing and educating the beauties of table tennis for young children from the beginner level
โถSummary
During the BETTALE, we will present the beauties of table tennis that are attractive to juvenile children, mostly 5-8 years old. During the activities, we draw the attention of the members of the target group in a playful way, focusing on making the presented and derived practices and tasks as interesting as possible. At this age, play is the most important thing for children. We fit a good example of the training program used by the Dr. Professional Table Tennis Academy, which has been operating in Canada since 2015. We want to supplement and further develop the "lunch break" program launched for upper grades there for lower kindergarten students. In spite of that, the participating table tennis clubs in the BETTALE are grassroots organizations with less experience and at the same time, newcomers in the Erasmus Programme have a goal to create new e-learning materials, which doesn't exist in this sport yet. With this method, participating clubs in the project can select the most talented students continuously which is one of the most important in terms of the long-term goals. The kindergarten and primary school involved can incorporate table tennis education into their program as a complementary activity and can also provide recruitment on an ongoing basis. The developed training plan consists of 10 * 1 hours, during which the basics and the related player tasks are presented, for the development of which the 2 participating clubs will be responsible. During the implementation of the pilot program, 1-1 kindergartens will participate. Errors, comments in the professional material created will be corrected during the lifetime of the BETTALE. In order to improve the acquisition of knowledge, we organize Learning, Teaching, Training meetings every 3 months. In these activities, children and their coaches can pass on their experiences to each other The completed digital training plans will be uploaded to the e-platform created within the project. and will be available free of charge.
