SYCC - SUP Your City Clean

SUP Your City Clean is an initiative of Stadsstrand Leeuwarden to create awareness for pollution on the waters in European cities. Together with several countries, we are going to tackle one of the most significant problems today which is the environment. Through combining several water sports (stand up paddle board or canoe) in the city and cleaning up initiatives we will increase awareness in the city to keep your surroundings clean and help to prevent pollution in cities. The target group for this project is youth, through youth organizations. The idea is to clean up the participating cities Ljubljana, Barcelona and Pescara by using a paddleboard to get youth interested in paddling and also get them to clean up during the free clinics.
