"Sports activities for people with specific learning disorders " (SASLED) is a "Partnership for collaboration" project whose main objective is to promote social inclusion and equal opportunities in sports, through greater participation in sports activities by adolescents and young people with specific learning difficulties (SLD). It involves 7 partners from 5 European countries. The aim of the project is to start a sustainable and continuous learning path that connects educators, social workers, coaches, volunteers, residential structures, associations, NGOs and Foundations, in a greater involvement in sport and educational activities of people with SLD. The specific objectives are: - promote the use of sport as a tool for the social inclusion of people with SLD - awareness of the potential of sport in the rehabilitation treatment of people with SLD; - train parents, educators, teachers, social and health workers and sports volunteers - Implementation of promotion and incentive programs for sports activities for people with SLD - Increase stakeholder knowledge on EU, national, regional and local policies on best teaching practices and social inclusion through sport. The target groups of the project are educators, social workers, teachers, trainers, volunteers, coaches, parents, managers and staff of sports organizations, training institutes and bodies, schools and non-profit associations. The planned activities are: 1. Management, implementation, coordination, monitoring and evaluation 2. Training and exchange of good practices 3. Sports activities and events Final results: - Investigation of the current situation (survey) - Guideline "SLD and Sport" containing the best training practices - E-learning platform for the training of sports operators and volunteers - Training certificate of "coach for people with SLD" - Local training workshops - Awareness raising events in 5 partner countries - Final conference - Communication materials and activities - Dissemination
