โ–ถSummary

Objectives: The inclusion of target groups with fewer opportunities: women and man 55+ in the field of tennis. Encouraging participation in physical activity and sport of all citizens, promoting the perception that sport is a human right, regardless of age, race, ethnicity, social class or gender. Activities include preparatory ones, development and production of communication messages to attract participants, execution of tennis activities, monitoring, reporting and dissemination. Central part of the project are tennis activities, in the 1st phase female and male groups are formed based on their physical condition and their tennis skills. In the 2nd phase participants are fused to form mixed groups to train playing tennis in mixed doubles which leads to the final sport event: mixed doubles tournament, a rarity in tennis world! All participants will be informed on the contents of the program, health aspects and nutrition before the start of the activities and monitored throughout. A separate booklet will be prepared for female participants on topic of hormonal disbalance and how tennis can ease its symptoms. Everyone will be given eco glass bottles. At the end of the program weโ€™ll carry out an opinion poll: participants will be given questionnaires to fill them. These will provide us valuable insight on participants perception of the project activities which will enable us to evaluate the overall effect and impact of the activities among the target groups and improve planning of the future programs. Persons directly benefiting from the project are participants, coaches (gaining experience in working with seniors, improving skills at that respect), the clubs themselves (project improves (EU) image of the club, an increased number of customers) and local community. Expected results (the opinion poll): satisfaction and improved health conditions of the participants, eased symptoms of hormonal disbalance (females 55+), improved tennis skills and social life.
