Summary

The selected topic of our project addresses “Inclusion and diversity in all fields of education, training &sport”. The reason behind this is the design of efficient proposals on how to involve as many young people as possible in sport activities that will provide inclusion of all the individuals and groups with fewer opportunities, who take part in society and have a different background, like social, cultural and economic obstacles. By providing equal opportunities to all of the above mentioned 10 to 16 year old, we will contribute in the process of improving their ability, opportunity and dignity through involving them in sport activities. All the consortium members have faced difficulties in developing meaningful connections between these groups of people and the sport activities we practice, because without the inclusion people are more likely to experience poor health, poor self-esteem, isolation, and even depression. Some of the project objectives which are relevant to the organizations in the partnership are the following: to solve inclusion issues in multicultural groups, to have a clear understanding of exclusion and inclusion, to develop and appropriately apply knowledge, skills and attitudes relevant to inclusive education, to develop specific competences regarding social inclusion, to raise motivation and interest work with disadvantaged young people, to learn new social inclusion tools and methods of work in order to educate all learners effectively; Within the project we will develop a Guidebook with various activities that will be applicable to be used with the youngster with different disadvantaged background. Within the partner meetings we intend to invite experts in the field of inclusion who will give us an insight of the needs of these people and propose specific directions for inclusive activities. At the same time we will have our coaches and trainers acquire skills and competences that will be used for designing activities in the everyday work
