The project gathers three organizations in a small-scale partnership in the field of sport: Para karate club Sveta Nedelja and Karate club Esseker from Croatia and karate club Olimpik sport 2007 from the Republic of North Macedonia. The main goal is to enable easier participation of children and youth with disabilities and fewer opportunities in karate. Partners have gathered with different levels of experience within each organization within karate and para karate to implement together planned activities and 1. include 36 participants aged 8-15 with disabilities/fewer opportunities and from the general population in karate for 10 months, 2. increase social inclusion of children and youth with disabilities/fewer opportunities by 0,1% through karate activities in Croatia and the Republic of North Macedonia, 3. Through international partnership improve the knowledge and skills of 9 karate trainers to lead para karate activities. Expected results are increased quality of partner organizations' activities, beginning to systematically include participants with disabilities and with fewer opportunities in karate and implementing innovative activities for mixed groups, more capacity for implementation of European projects and international partnerships, and an increased number of members. Our target groups will have access to karate activities for 36 participants and improve their inclusion, participants being able to recognize their potential, receive support from their peers, and both participants and organizations contributing to a more inclusive society.
