โ–ถSummary

The Transforming Fan Culture project aims to combat aggression, hate speech, and violence in sports fan culture by promoting respect, fair play, and social inclusion. Focused on Greece, Cyprus, Albania, and Kosovo, the project seeks to empower grassroots sports organizations, fan associations, and young athletes by equipping them with tools and strategies to foster ethical sportsmanship and positive fan engagement. Through transnational collaboration, the initiative will develop and implement the Fan Culture Transformation Toolkit (FCTT), which includes training modules, interactive resources, a co-developed Fan Code of Conduct, and digital learning tools. These resources will support clubs, referees, and fan groups in managing behavior effectively while encouraging cross-border knowledge exchange and cooperation. By integrating innovative educational approaches, leveraging digital platforms, and engaging local communities, the project aims to create safer, more inclusive, and respectful sports environments that uphold European values of unity, diversity, and civic engagement. Through structured training, awareness campaigns, and stakeholder involvement, the initiative will contribute to the long-term sustainability of positive sports culture and inspire a shift toward ethical fan behavior. that is published through this page expresses the views of the project beneficiaries only and it does not represent the views of the European Union or the European Commission.
