β–ΆSummary

Background Youth work experienced a new and urgent challenge in spring 2020 to improve online communication and digital marketing of non-profit organizations working with young people. Weare now aware of our need to improve our work with social media, promote our activities, and successfully target our Internet content to our youth. In our organizations, we haveanalyzed our weaknesses and threads, but also strengths, and opportunities (please see attached SWOT analysis). Our weakness which we have observed in our organizations for along time is mainly low-quality presentations on social media and lack of volunteers. In this time we see many opportunities that could help us to improve our services for young people,to reach more youngsters through social media, to train our paid/unpaid staff to enhance their professional development, to boost our ability to cooperate and share good practice in the NGO sector to become able to respond to the upcoming digital challenges of the 21st century. Objectives 1) To share good practice between the included partners in - The means of reaching generation Y and Z through the internet (content on social media, website, campaigns, etc.) - Methodology of analyzing the needs of the various target group of the participating organizations - Tailoring public events and workshops addressing the identified needs for various target groups - Fundraising and building cross-sector partnerships 2) To increase the quality of services provided to young people 3) To strengthen the human resources capacity of our organizations with volunteers and interns 4) To increase the number of beneficiaries of services provided by us in terms of young people between 15-35 years old including youth with fewer opportunities 5) Fostering civic engagement of your community by creating a PR action plan and guide for our organizations in order to achieve the upper mentioned objectives Implementation We imlemented 3 TPM (in Germany, Slovakia and Romania) and 1 training in the Czech Republic. Achievements Strategic partnership for youth work established between partner organizations and space for continued mutual support created Increased cooperation among partner organizations in the field of youth work 12 employees and at least 8 volunteers in total were trained in the field of digital communication, PR, marketing, data analysis, and social media 4 youth organizations managed to create an internal PR action plan that helped them to implement the knowledge and good practice they learned during the project into the everyday functioning of the organization Increased quality of services provided by partner organizations through the ability to carry out quality needs assessments and professionalized work with acquired data Increased number of local young volunteers active in each partner organization Increased number of young people participating in the activities of each organization, including increased motivation of these youngsters to participate in volunteering and educational projects A free online guide in English, Slovak, Czech, Romanian, and German language for organizations focusing on the same target group, from which they can learn the basics of how to work with social media
