Emoaction: In & Inner
▶Summary
Background The current European context is marked by strong cultural diversity, which arises as a result of rapidly intensifying migration and racial flows: -Between 2010-2016, 7 million people of all religious backgrounds arrived in Europe as migrants or refugees; -The Roma (gypsy ethnicity) community has a population of over 10 million (the largest transnational); -One of the communities where EUROACCION intervenes is 99% Arab; -In Romania 3.3% of the population is Roma (Census 2011); -In Agueda there are 8 Roma communities, mainly in the outskirts of the municipality. NEEDS -To create responses at the educational and youth level that include the personal, emotional and social development needs of young people; -To have moments of reflection and sharing of ideas and expectations, emotions and feelings; -Develop interventions focused on young people's confidence, motivation, and ability to interact; -Demystify prejudices and stigmas that emphasize deviant behavior; -Develop results that innovate intervention at the level of socio-emotional skills in young people with fewer opportunities (given the scarcity of solutions on a European scale). Objectives PROBLEM Social exclusion of young people with fewer opportunities (namely ethnic minorities, refugees, and migrants), which emerges because they face cultural, social, and economic obstacles and, in some cases, have deficits in emotional and intercultural intelligence. OBJECTIVES -Promote the social, personal and emotional inclusion of young people through the development of key competences and emotional and intercultural intelligence; -To empower YW with new key competences, practices, strategies and non-formal methods of youth intervention, boosting their capacity for local operationalization and transnational cooperation in the resolution of youth problems; -Consolidate an inclusive and innovative intervention that orients the work with young people towards social inclusion and empowerment of young people who are emotionally more stable, aware, active and oriented towards European needs and priorities; -To provide results with scalability and transferability potential that guide a participative and inclusive intervention in working with young people on socio-emotional skills. Implementation PREPARATION Joint identification of the objectives and tasks to be implemented by each partner to achieve the results; -Reinforced preparation of the participants (local sessions). IMPLEMENTATION -Transnational Meetings; -YW training through activities on emotional and intercultural intelligence and socio-emotional skills (TC); -Compilation and sharing of materials, contents and results arising from local sessions; -Development of intellectual Outputs (2); -Youth exchange (physical and virtual) using ENF. DISSEMINATION AND EXPLOITATION OF RESULTS -Sharing results, good practices, testimonies and the potential of Erasmus+ and the project; -Dissemination of the project (Multiplier Events). CLOSURE (final virtual closure activity) -Contact between partners for evaluation of results, impacts and analysis of future actions; -General evaluation of the project, collection and compilation of key information for the final report and booklet.
