Access to the internet and social media gives citizens more opportunities to be informed and to make informed choices. However, senior adults do have difficulties in media literacy and therefore as a result it creates new social and democratic threats. Hence, we as NGOs feel the need to contribute to democratic development of the society by providing adult education with media literacy and critical thinking skills. So our aim is to enhance NGOs workers' skills and raise the capacity of our organisation in the field of adult education in the topic of media literacy, critical thinking and digital skills by bringing the expertise and exchanging good practices. Concrete objectives are: Analyze the position of seniors regarding fake news and digitalization Learn from examples of good practice from experienced organisation Create the methodology and tools for approaching seniors in the topic of media literacy and digitalization Deliver new methodology to our target group Create a booklet with methodology and tools we developed

One of the significant outcomes of the project was the enhancement of our organization's capacities in the field of adult education. Through collaborative efforts and knowledge exchange with experienced partner organizations, we gained valuable insights and practical skills to effectively address the digital literacy needs of seniors. An important deliverable of the project was the creation of a comprehensive methodology booklet tailored specifically for adult workers, working with seniors. This resource focused on media literacy and digital safety, providing practical tools and guidelines to help seniors navigate the digital space with confidence. Through a series of local activities, we successfully engaged and involved over 300 seniors in our educational efforts.
