Czech Republic has not yet had an instrument or platform for active promotion of the VET importance at national and international level, to strengthen forms of cooperation and at the same time present the level of skills and professional mastery of professionals from the whole Czech Republic at national and European level across occupations. The aim of this project was to setup conditions for a sustainable operation of the National Centre of Czech Skills, using Slovak experience, and at the same time to identify activities to strengthen and develop the existing Slovak national platform Skills Slovakia. Through the project activities 'Today in VET, tomorrow in practice! ', both project partners focused in particular on: 1. strengthening their professional capacities in the field of VET through the national platforms Czech Skills and Skills Slovakia, 2. deepening international cooperation in involving experts in the activities of Czech Skills and Skills Slovakia, 3. presenting the professional skills and excellence to promote the Czech Republic and Slovakia at national and international VET competitions, including support in securing the participation in Euroskills 2023.
