โ–ถObjectives

The project aimed to develop guidelines to support companies in Europe in effectively supporting their employees with a migrant background. This includes creating a detailed roadmap that organizations can follow to ensure the well-being and inclusion of diverse employees. Recognizing the pressing problem of labor shortages in Europe, particularly in Ireland, Germany and Italy, we sought to contribute to a solution. Effective support and integration of people with a migrant background into the world of work can help alleviate these bottlenecks and contribute to sustainable economic growth. By implementing the project, we want to raise awareness among European companies about the importance of supporting employees with a migrant background. By highlighting the benefits of a diverse workforce, we aim to encourage a shift in organizational thinking towards inclusion. In addition, three organizations received initial experience in implementing an ERASMUS+ KA210 project. Another goal was the exchange of experiences between the organizations.

โ–ถImpact

We met new, interesting partners. The partners were very different and brought different perspectives. Firstly, the precarious situation of the (Afghan) migrants in Istanbul (who are looked after there by our partner), then the perspective of the members of our Irish partner (who all have a migrant background from Romania and Moldova). The experiences of migrants in Germany at work. We have created a comprehensive manual. We discussed the content extensively - beyond the end of the project - and learned a lot in the process.
