โ–ถObjectives

The main objectives of the MyPath project were: 1. Empowerment: Empower skilled migrant and ethnic minority women in the VET sector through innovative methods and mentorship programs to build self-confidence and enhance their employability. 2. Childcare Support: Develop flexible and sustainable childcare solutions to remove barriers to employment or further training for women with children. 3. Competence Assessment: Help women realistically assess their skills and career potential through personalized training and gamified learning. 4. Career Planning: Equip professional facilitators with a 'Training Kit for Trainers' to improve the employability of the target group and address unrecognized competencies in the labor market. 5. Awareness and Networking: Raise awareness among key stakeholders and create a platform for networking and communication. 6. Replicability: Develop models that can be replicated across the EU to support skilled migrant and ethnic minority women in their career development and integration efforts. MyPath aimed to empower skilled migrant and ethnic minority women, improve their employability, and facilitate their socio-cultural and economic integration into host countries.

โ–ถActivities

We created an inclusive program/framework accessible online and offline, enabling migrant and ethnic minority women to plan their careers independently. 1. Results Produced: Developed the MyPath Training Toolkit for professionals (PR1), conducted 40 mentoring sessions and produced 4 role model videos with migrant women (PR2). 2. Professional Engagement: Equipped facilitators with best practices, childcare methods, and innovative empowerment approaches, encouraging partnerships and cooperation. 3. Piloting Initiatives: Engaged trainers in firsthand course experience, enhancing their understanding and motivation while serving as a monitoring tool. 4. Quality Assurance: Ensured the quality of training materials through internal analysis before administration. 5. Webpage and Networking: Established an official project webpage and common portal for networking among stakeholders, promoting knowledge sharing and capacity building. 6. One-Window Approach: Streamlined access to resources, courses, and support services for target women, minimizing duplication and time wastage. These activities collectively aimed to empower skilled migrant and ethnic minority women, enhance their employability, and facilitate their socio-economic integration

โ–ถImpact

MyPath delivered the following key outcomes: 1. MyPath Training Toolkit (R1) to empower professionals working with skilled migrant and ethnic minority women. This toolkit provides practical, engaging materials and strategies, both online and offline, enabling trainers to enhance women's skills, boost self-confidence, and provide labor-market insights. The toolkit promotes best practices, problem-solving tools, and gamified learning. 2. MyPath Mentoring and Role Model Resources (R2) whereby 40 mentoring sessions and produced 4 'Role Model Videos' to empower women through motivational stories, practical insights, and authentic experiences shared by successful women with migration backgrounds. 3. Capacity Building and Self-Assessment among migrant and ethnic minority women, improving their confidence and competitiveness in the labor market. 4. Networking and Communication via the project official webpage as well as networking opportunities, facilitating knowledge sharing, communication, and awareness-raising about the challenges faced by migrant and ethnic minority women. 5. Instructional Design, Methodologies and Expertise Sharing, that can benefit future projects in similar domains.
