The overarching goal of the 'Cooperative Partnerships for Capacity Building in VET' project is to enhance the quality of vocational education and training (VET) by supporting the professional development and empowerment of teachers and school leaders. The primary objective of the project is to build capacity in VET by empowering teachers and leaders to embrace leadership for learning and to engage in professional learning activities..

The project implementation is structured around three main tracks of activities: International / interorganizational learning sessions (Two seminars, a webinar, and a final meeting). Local organizational action learning processes developing professional learning activities. Transnational school visits including job-shadowing, collaborative reflections and peer feedback. The activities are developed, described, and evaluated by a designed Task-force, which consists of participants with experience from the previous project and the development of the concept DNA of leadership for learning. The project is supported by a research track guided by the following questions: How does the DNA-model facilitate (or prohibit) the development of leadership for learning? And, how does international collaboration facilitate or prohibit the development of leadership for learning? The research questions differs from the application text due to the abductive research process. We decided to revise our research question to better align with the evolving proces of the project. The results of the project due to the Theory of Change ( placed in the Erasmus+ project Platform) can be outlined as: Strengthening Task Force Members' Capacity. The project enhanced the individual and collaborative capacity of task force members to work within international development using a project-based approach. The result was achieved through targeted training and knowledge sharing. Increased Theoretical and Methodological Knowledge. The participants improved their theoretical and methodological knowledge about professional learning and capacity building in vocational education and training (VET). This was accomplished through intensive interorganizational learning sessions and access to research-based resources. Training of Trainers. The project trained local trainers to initiate local professional learning processes. The result in this area can be attributed to practical training as part of the actions learning process and the peer-feedback from international colleagues. Strengthening Local Stakeholders' Skills and Motivation. The project contributes to strengthen the individual and organizational skills, knowledge, and motivation of local stakeholders to engage in professional learning events and collaborate to enhance student learning outcomes. Transnational Peer Counseling. The project developed the participants abilities to learn from transnational peer counseling. This was achieved by facilitating transnational school-visits and the exchange of experience in a trustful learning environment. Research-Based Knowledge: The project has generated research-based knowledge on the potentials of capacity building activities in the project. This result was achieved through systematic collection and analysis of data from observations and interview The results can be attributed to a combination of well-structured activities, strong collaboration with local and international partners, and a focused effort to build on existing knowledge and experiences.
