▶Objectives
Our project had several goals. 1. LINGUISTIC GOALS: the international context is fundamental to achieving this goal. Despite language teachers' efforts, our students study foreign languages as school subjects; their sense of closeness to the world of sociability, culture and representations conveyed by each of these languages remains weak. The aim of this project was to bring students closer to the partners' languages through culture, in particular the arts and food. 2.CIVIC GOALS: a. to give students a sense of meaning in their education by taking part in an activity in which they are valued, and where their efforts are visible and appreciated by others. b. to extend the community feeling to the wider European sphere. We have succeeded in enhancing individual identities by developing the desire and curiosity to get to know others, and by giving students the motive, the people to talk to, and the means to communicate with other European teenagers.
