CoopAnimArt - développer les compétences de coopération physique, numérique et éthique dans le spectacle vivant
▶Summary
The performing arts sector in Europe is facing systemic challenges linked to economic fragility, limited organisational capacity and the need for greater professionalisation. With limited resources and strong competition, performing arts companies need help to undertake collaborative initiatives that could strengthen the ecosystem. Professionals have unstable careers marked by job insecurity, with little or no training in innovative practices, cross-disciplinary skills and other management tools, and make little use of the tools resulting from digital transformation. This leads to an environment of resistance to change and an inability to jointly solve common problems. More support needs to be given to the development of essential skills such as cooperation, collective action and organisational innovation. The CoopAnimArt project aims to address these issues directly by developing new training methods focused on developing more vital peer collaboration, networking and physical and digital cooperation skills.
▶Objectives
The overall aim of the project is to develop skills in physical, digital and ethical cooperation in the performing arts sector. The main aims are as follows: - To offer experimental training courses for adults focusing on the individual and collective development of the ability to cooperate and act in a network. - To develop an understanding of group dynamics and the skills needed to manage and lead collaborative projects, using collective intelligence methods, digital tools and innovative leadership methods. - Facilitate the networking and dissemination of these methods. - Strengthen the sector's agility, resilience and capacity for innovation and joint problem-solving. - To design and prototype a training system focusing on cooperation skills, using an experimental and participative approach with strong involvement of beneficiaries. - Create an open-access toolbox of resources and training materials to enable adoption by other organisations. - Encourage a culture of cooperation and collective action in the performing arts.
▶Activities
In addition to developing the skills targeted by the implementation of the CoopAnimArt project, the aim was to create an online training pathway, a physical teaching aid, a know-how transfer system and a local testing system, and to produce a video report and a report on the experiment. To do this, we organised a number of activities in the partner countries, and more specifically - Four 3-day hackathons were held in partner countries in rotation. - 4 peer learning and testing workshops of 3 days each, focusing on testing training concepts with small groups of performing arts professional learners. - 6 local workshops: collective local support actions for professionals in each region, involving the partners' teams and representatives from each organisation. These practical workshops enabled an initial local dissemination of learning and the application of the training pathway in the partner countries. Furthermore, we implemented skills transfer sessions, 8 transnational meetings and 3 dissemination events in France, Hungary and Portugal in order to ensure the visibility of the project, to reach the direct and indirect target groups and to accelerate the exploitation of the project results.
▶Impact
Six intellectual products were produced thanks to the cooperation of the partner teams, experts and participants: - An open educational platform comprising 6 training modules in English and other tools and documentary resources - A board game (in English, French and Portuguese) - A documentary video describing the experiment, its context and objectives - A "lessons learned" report on the experiment and its results - A know-how transfer system and its methodological support (in English) - A system of local tests deployed in the 6 partner countries. We have also created : - a toolbox of open-access teaching materials and resources published under a Creatice Commons licence - material that promotes and disseminates the project's objectives and results, such as 3 newsletters, presentations for the MPTs, activities and dissemination events.
