▶Objectives
The aim of SEEDS is to establish a community of good practices for distributed courses between partner universities. The SEEDS project was initiated by the partners’ previous activities that helped identify conditions that limited internationalisation in general, for whatever reason. Most of these limitations could be overcome by modernising and transforming methods and procedures for international educational collaboration by adopting an integrated digital approach. During the project, we identified a common core of appropriate digital tools, developed and tested innovative formats or common digital content for online or blended teaching and learning. By involving students, teachers and administrative staff, digital competences in all aspects of university education were developed. To complement the existing tools and methods, the project paid particular attention to the following topics: 1) pedagogical approaches for distributed shared lectures, 2) methods and tools for laboratory exercises that require remote interaction with physical devices, 3) tools and methods for distributed and remote assessment, 4) procedures and tools to ensure access to the developed resources 5) information on the developed resources and feedback
▶Activities
The main outputs of the project are shared course materials, remote laboratory productions, video recordings of virtual tours or student project proposals. Two summer schools were organized in collaboration with industrial stakeholders. They led to the establishment of training activities allowing students to acquire intercultural skills by collaborating with foreign students. In addition, a catalog of digital education methods and tools was produced. This material was promoted during webinars and multiplier events as part of dissemination and communication activities. Information related to the project results is also disseminated via: - the project website, to present the project and disseminate the project results, - scientific conferences or events, - an educational resource management platform.
