Summary

Countries with healthy citizens are those that can look to the future with confidence. Reports warn of “junk food” being the cause of many serious illnesses that a sedentary lifestyle accentuates....

Objectives

the objectives were to: - Develop teaching methods and new approaches to instill sustainable behaviours towards a healthy and sustainable lifestyle: learn to use healthy foods (organic food, healthy cooking, etc.) - Develop teaching methods and new approaches to promote sustainable sport; - Ensure the health of future generations - Enable equal opportunities in education for young people from disadvantaged groups (social, cultural, economic, learning difficulties, etc.) - Collaborate between professional institutions, with innovative means and promote good example - Making vocational education more attractive while raising awareness of European citizenship; - Ensure that teachers and students progress through the digitization period using ICT tools. - Develop foreign language skills - Develop the use of digital tools; - Foster inclusion

Activities

We collaborated and shared during 4 mobilities, one in each of the partner countries, each bringing together at least 28 students and 8 teachers, on the following themes: - Healthy diet (Healthy foods, healthy cooking, etc.) - Healthy eating methods - Organic food - Sport for health Before and after each mobility and throughout the project, teachers from each partner worked on the themes to create 4 E-magazines 4 Videos 4 Learning units 4 Workshops/Conference/Conference and at the end of the project, a e-book bringing together all the works. Priority was given to socially, economically and culturally disadvantaged students during selection to participate in mobilities. Thus, we have strived to create equal opportunities and contribute to the development of the concept of European citizenship.

Impact

During the mobilities, the participants (teachers and students) - developed their knowledge for a healthy and sustainable life - improved their digital skills - got to know each other and had intercultural exchanges - were more motivated by international experience - improved their awareness of European citizenship - ensured the development of their foreign language skills - learned to work in international teams - learned and developed different working methods - developed their knowledge of the sustainable environment 4 mobilities were carried out. For each of them, 7 students and 2 adults from each partner school participated, at least, for a period of 5 days. Exchanges in international teams, in the form of games, visits, computer or manual work were carried out 1 – In France: Supply of healthy cooking methods, recycling of food waste. Buy healthy products and cook the recipes. 2 – In Portugal: Healthy eating methods: dietary practices such as the Mediterranean diet, use of spices and herbs in cooking. 3 – In Romania: Culture and Organic Food: Promote the production of organic food for a healthy and sustainable life 4 – In Turkey: -Sport for health: practical activities linked to sport and exercise for a healthy life
