โถObjectives
The general objective of the project is to contribute to reducing the risk of unemployment for Elder Care Providers and to sustain the Elder Care system in Europe. The project aimed to pursue the following specific objectives: a) Develop adequate levels of knowledge and skills in the humanized (person-centred) use of technologies for elderly care by operators; b) Adjust the skill set of elderly assistants to the evolving needs of their work. The spread of technologies and applications for elderly care will sustain the Elder Care system. The elderly were placed at the center, generating substantial innovation: elderly assistants developed skills for a 'HUMANIZED' use of these technologies. This ensured the growth of the quality of life for the elderly. c) IFP partner providers have developed the capacity to produce a cohesive training offer on the use of technologies with a human touch, suitable and attractive for workers; d)Elder Care providers have developed the capacity to meet the new market demands. In addition to the coordinator, Ilmiolavoro Srl, the partners involved were Italia Salute Srl, two Spanish Foundations (Tecsos and Ageing Lab), the Danish school SOSU, the Irish organization Momentum, and the Rosscommon consortium

The main activities carried out to produce the results useful for achieving the objectives were: A1 HUMAN-DIGIT ELDER CARE MOOC DEVELOPMENT The MOOC was co-created based on analyses of technologies, the profile of the elderly assistant, and the skill needs of the operators. During a design lab, the MOOC was conceived. Then, through cooperative work, it was developed by partners and uploaded to the project's web platform. A user-friendly MOOC was realized. It was tested by 80 elderly assistants who received a certificate for their learning achievements. After the project's expiration, 23 new assistants used the MOOC. A2: HUMAN-DIGIT WORK-BASED TOOLKIT DEVELOPMENT A toolkit was created to train elderly assistants in a work-based continuing education context. Many training planning, management and monitoring, evaluation, and revision tools were created following the EQAVET+ logic. A curriculum and tools were created to train trainers as tutors for WBL (Work-Based Learning). The toolkit was tested by 80 employed elderly assistants in a work context. Many cooperative activities were carried out as part of online and in-person meetings.

We planned 2 outputs: PR1 Human-Digit MOOC; It is a re-skill course that provides elderly assistants with the foundations to assist and care for the elderly through specific technologies and applications. It is accessible at times convenient for elderly assistants. Elderly assistants are now able to: - use technologies to assist and care for the elderly adopting a humanized approach towards the elderly; - manage devices and applications at a basic level; - understand and utilize some data produced by technologies; - use applications for effective self-management of their work. PR2 Human-Digit WBL Toolkit The toolkit contains a set of tools useful for designing and implementing practical learning activities aimed at elderly assistants to be carried out in a work-based program. It also includes contents, activities, and tools addressed at tutors of WBL programs. It contains: - The curriculum and training materials for trainer training (C1) - 2 Practical guides on the use of technologies and on social & emotional skills - 45 tools - EQAVET Guidelines. An LTTA was implemented for the training of tutors in WBL pathways. The results have been disseminated through the main Dissemination tools (MEs, website, and social channels).
