โ–ถObjectives

The general objective of leading the transformation of the tourism industry into a more sustainable and environmentally conscious sector by empowering VET trainers, have been achieved by pursuing the following specific objectives: 1) To develop interactive, participatory, and lean teaching approaches to boost sustainable thinking in tourism, through the development of a Lean Methodological Framework, based on a careful methodologies' selection and SWOT Analysis; 2) Boost flexible learning in the tourism field through the development of an ECVET Profile and accompanying Training Plan, leading to the definition of a new 'Digital, green and Innovative Tourism Professional' Profile, exploitable and adaptable to the VET Providers' Courses all across Europe; 3) Increasing the knowledge/skills/ green, innovative and digital competencies of VET trainers and trainees (and of Tourism Professionals and SMEs as well) through the development of a Training course, including interactive training material (available both online on Moodle Platform, and offline), skills' assessments tools and an evaluation plan to support the VET Trainers, or allow autonomous learning of VET Trainees, Tourism Professionals or staff members in Tourism SMEs.
