โ–ถObjectives

The EUMind-School project was born out of an awareness of the importance of training the professionals of the next generation in the field of European projects designing, planning and drafting, with the concrete objective of creating a permanent platform, equipped with our innovative and digital Toolkit, for teachers and school staff in secondary schools. The EUMind-School project aimed to: Generate a new awareness in high school teachers on the value and opportunities associated with European projects - To improve the level of knowledge and competence on European planning already starting from high school Encourage active teaching through innovative teaching methodologies based on Design Thinking - To encourage interactions between schools in joint initiatives at transnational level upon shared innovation and educational needs.

โ–ถActivities

Specifically, the partnership developed a shared platform (Activity 1: Toolkit) that contains - three training modules, presented in 4 different languages (EN, IT, HR, GE) and in a creative and interactive mode (short video tutorials + in-depth library + quiz/assessment exercises) - a form/template for the realisation of the project idea - a list of digital tools for remote co-design, which is also functional for peer-review. All tools have been tested and validated through 6 national workshops and 1 transnational online workshop (Activity 2) and the project ideas, submitted through the project (at least 12), have been evaluated in peer-review mode between project partners and teachers involved during the transnational networking meeting. This platform responds to the priorities of the programme, on the one hand, by supporting teachers and students in acquiring new competencies and, on the other hand, by facilitating the acquisition of new skills and competences, by fostering digital transformation in schools and offering more interactive and dynamic methods for distance learning. Also to respond to the precise needs of the labor market of the present and of the future.

โ–ถImpact

The main result of the project is a platform that contains (Acitivity 1: Toolkit): three training modules, presented in 4 different languages and in a creative and interactive way a form for the realization of the project idea; a list of digital tools for remote co-design between schools also functional to peer-review. 31 teachers have been trained and 9 schools have been involved. The students trained, in turn, have been around 600 (20 per classroom).
