The concrete objectives we would to achieve are: - Objective 1: Exchange practices about the learning strategies based on digital tools used in our pre-schools. To increase teachers' digital skills will help them to introduce digital tools into their class and use them with children. The aim is to help the children to be active producers of digital contents rather being passive consumers - Objective 2: to increase family participation through digital tools. According to the first objective we would like to improve digital and pedagogical skills of the teachers. These skills must support different teaching methods in order to include every child and his/her family. The results we would like to achieve, in addition to an improvement in the quality of our schools thanks to the acquisition of better skills by the teachers, are linked to the inclusion of different needs of children and families. In fact, digital tools can help to increase participation in school life by those who have any type of difficulty (linguistic or related to special needs).

We had two trainings. The first training seminar will be held in Sweden and it will be focused on digital learning strategies that include the application of digital tools to the pre-school educational context and the acquisition of digital skills for teachers and educators. Indeed, during the seminar, Swedish experts in digital skills development for teachers will be involved so they can explain how to best take advantage of the online platforms and didactic digital technologies available for teachers. In addition, they will support teachers and educators in identifying the best digital teaching strategies and solutions to be applied at local level in their own pre-school. The second training seminar will be held in Italy and it will be focused on family engagement and how to explain the risks associated with digital tools, but also the opportunities they offer. Indeed, during the seminar, Italian experts will be involved so they can teach which are the best strategies and digital tools to engage parents in the everyday activity of their children. After those two trainings we collected and exchanges best pratices. We tested those best practices. We had some online meetings to share our experiences.

We shared best practices, we collected them into a book. Thanks to this project the Italian team could buy some digital tools such as tablets, video projectors and microscopes. In our schools we didn't have these digital tools, Children can use these tools at school in an active way, they can be active producers of digital contents. Thanks to that we could provide better opportunities for all the children and fight social inequalities. We engage family in our project, they support us. When the Swedish team came to visit us they partecipate in some activities because they would like to know our partners. Thanks the second meeting on family engagement we try new way of sharing documentation (Ex.: with QR code), we improve the use of our inline platform to share contents with them. The Swedish team handed out a survey to every teacher in Motala municipality. The survey study was about how educators reach out digitally to guardians, in relation to the guidelines, such as GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation )what the curriculum states about integrity of the child. They found the importance of having a comun platform that can reach parents.
