▶Objectives
The overall goal of the TETRIS project was to build capability and raise awareness among physical education teachers and youngsters regarding the prevention and contrast of gender-based violence acts in the sports sector and in the school physical education field. The specific objectives are: - Create a knowledge base of events related to the existence of violence - sexual or not - radicalization, discrimination and intolerance against both women and men in the sports sector. - Provide useful empowerment tools and resources that can increase the capability of individuals who have experienced GBV and their advocates to speak out. - Improve the capacity of educational staff and of public and private service providers working to support the individuals who have experienced GBV in the sport sector, by focusing on discrimination and restrictions against them. - Raise public awareness about the rights and the needs of individuals who have experienced GBV in the sports and physical education sectors.
