Summary

The "Better educated TEEN instead then NEET - TEEN vs NEET" project emerged from a collaborative effort among partners to increase awareness among young individuals regarding the NEET phenomenon. It aimed to foster better opportunities for future generations within the European Union. The concept of NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) originated in a UK government document in 1999 and is now used to describe young individuals who are neither studying nor working. Falling into this category often leads to social isolation and a lack of future prospects. Various factors contribute to this situation, including unfavorable family, economic, and social environments, external challenges, and systemic inequalities. The widespread nature of this issue across Europe necessitated intervention. The objectives of this project were: - To make education more engaging and appealing. - To encourage young individuals to actively seek opportunities beyond their current circumstances.
