▶Objectives
ECOSTREAM project is an attempt to summarize the available experience in the European countries, the experience of teachers in the use of elements of social simulation as an efficient environment protection pedagogy offering an overview of the positive effects of learning by doing. The objectives of the project were: *to collect and share good practices among project partners *to increase professional development of teachers *to collect ideas and create a Curriculum for environmental interdisciplinary learning based on climate change activities and follow up activities for the project result *to develop and reinforce EU networks for sustainable environment among teachers *to enrich the network for sustainable environment and awareness raising on CC effects among schools, education providers.

Climate change (CC) is affecting every country, quality of our life and it will continue to do so, unless we try to educate ourselves and our children to make changes in our lives that will impact the environment less. Knowledge on CC in formal education helps the development of sense of responsibility through creation of informed awareness. Environmental education is very fragmented in EU schools, lacking a holistic approach. Partners decided to collect existing good practices used in schools, youth, training organizations and create a curriculum for environmental interdisciplinary learning with holistic approach for all levels of education. The main idea and need to reach schools children and educational society with collected international experiences, ideas of how to integrate in teaching subjects awareness of climate change importance, create attractive, interactive tasks and non-formal methods about environmental learning from school books and information from internet. In addition this strategic partnership project and collected good practice examples can help in raising awareness on climate change effects through different activities, interactive and creative learning methods for pupils aged 11-15.

Intangible results (project outputs) * new competencies for teachers in the partners' organisations; * increased intercultural competences for the staff and learners; * lifelong learning network of partners and other stakeholders involved in the project at local, national and European level.
