We wanted to increase the knowledge of the project participants about pro-ecological products and activities, and change their attitudes and behavior to pro-ecological. Our goal was also to make the participants aware of the great impact our everyday decisions have on the state of the environment. In addition, we wanted to improve linguistic and social competences, i.e. improve communication and openness to others. An important aspect was also the acquisition of new experiences related to education but also traveling.

First of all, we started cooperation with a partner school in Portugal. As part of this cooperation, we have planned joint online classes in the field of ecology. There were six meetings of the project participants on the following topics: second life of the product - recycling, my conscious choice - sustainable shopping, drop of life - how to save water, segregate not waste, healthy nutrition - healthy planet, my carbon footprint. Another implemented activity was the implementation of ecological workshops at a partner school where they held joint educational classes in the field of ecology. The next activity was summing up, evaluating and disseminating. As part of these activities, an Open Day was organized, during which participants presented the results of their work with their peers from abroad, and there were also ecological workshops for the entire school community and invited guests (a friend school, parents). An important element of the activity was the dissemination of our activities in the local newspaper and social media.

The concrete result of the project was the preparation of materials and the development of an Eco Guide with a model of ecological conduct in Polish and English. Another result was the preparation of multimedia presentations and lapbooks by project participants from both Poland and Portugal, in line with the subject of online meetings. An important result was the preparation of scenarios for conducting classes in the field of ecology for teachers. Establishing new contacts and thus increasing linguistic and social competences were also of great importance. Project participants obtained better results in English on the Eighth Class Examination, students also improved their science test results. The intangible result of the project is to stimulate our school community to be more active and participate in new projects. Another result is the acquisition of new experiences in the field of travel and learning about a new country, culture and customs, as well as learning about new teaching methods and the school education system. Participation in the project allowed to increase the skills of working in a team and using information technologies.
