Objectives

The partnership formed by 4 NGOs, with different nature of activities (Poland - Spain - Netherlands - Greece) had the potential to, through exchange of experience and good practices, develop tailored to the needs and capabilities of the selected 2 target groups (people 55+ and HR trainers/specialists) free and innovative tools in the working environment of people 55+. The initiation and implementation of activities aimed at the development of an innovative development program, supporting the concept of lifelong learning provides a great opportunity to promote the perception of education of people 55+ as an integral part of the whole human life, its penetration into the institutions working for people 55+ in the EU and in the workplace, involving, among others: HR departments, entrepreneurs, leaders. Indeed, the MAIN OBJECTIVE of the PROJECT was to increase the professional potential of trainers and employees of HR departments, professional leaders (1 GOAL GROUP) by working with a comprehensive educational program, enabling employees 55+ (2 GOAL GROUP) to learn how to trigger and increase social and professional engagement by focusing on internal sources of motivation and positive communication in multi-generational teams.

Activities

On the success of the "SWITCH ON" project, had a number of activities implemented, these included: - management and monitoring activities and ongoing communication; - 3 international partner meetings in the formula of line and hybrid; - development of 3 major comprehensive project results: E - COURSEBOOK for trainers / "POWER BOX" with 80 coaching cards / E - GAME ROOM. - Conducting 40 pilot workshops with 55+ people and coaches, which gave feedback in the form of evaluation and feedback sessions not superfluous to the methodical solutions used in the program; - creation of an open educational platform (in EN, PL, GR, SP, NLD), where "SWITCH ON" was made available. - a comprehensive educational program to support people aged 55+ at risk of social and professional exclusion caused by long period of remote work in lockdown; - Implementation of 8 dissemination events with a practical component; - activities promoting the "SWITCH ON" program with full, ongoing coverage at https://wellsol.eu/swon-news; - or, finally, evaluations, an expert assessment of the project's results by 4 external specialists.

Impact

The results and outcomes focused on supporting the trend of lifelong learning, self-development, increasing motivation in the working environment of people 55+ and combine the use of best practices of workshops with self-development. Indeed, the result of the project was the joint development and dissemination by the partnership of an innovative, comprehensive at the same time educational program to support people aged 55+ at risk of social and professional exclusion caused by long period of remote work in lockdown - which was divided into 2 stages of work: stage I - ACTION - stage II - INCLUSION. Stage I - ACTION - includes E - COURSEBOOK for trainers (...) - a ready compendium of knowledge consisting of 3 modules: MODULE A. GUIDANCE IN THE WORK OF COACHES MODULE B. 30 LESSON PLANS MODULE C. CASE STUDY In addition, the program was enriched on STAGE II with 2 original development tools: "POWER BOX" with 80 coaching cards and - E - GAME ROOM with development work in quizzes. All material was developed in languages: EN, PL, GR, SP, NLD - which gives incredible potential to work in many professional environments of people 55+ in Europe.
