The DigIT project was designed with the overarching goal of addressing the complex challenges faced by refugees and immigrants in accessing higher education, with a particular focus on leveraging digital tools and strategies. The specific objectives of the project were as follows: * Develop Digital Pedagogical Competencies: Objective: Enhance the digital pedagogical competencies of higher education professionals, including teachers, educators, and administrative staff. * Build Digital Education Readiness: Objective: Foster digital education readiness among adult refugees and immigrants. * Create Educational and Mentorship Resources: Objective: Develop and implement educational and mentorship resources. * Establish a Digital Database and Online Forum: Objective: Develop and use an open educational resource (OER) and a free and open-source educational platform. * Encourage Innovation and Knowledge Transfer: Objective: Encourage innovation and knowledge transfer across Europe.
