โ–ถObjectives

The implementation of the project aimed to facilitate the transition of technology-oriented subjects to digital form at university level. The project consortium recognised the crucial role of supporting and integrating the efforts of educational staff in this process. The existing support for teachers should not overlook the perspective of students. Digital education has struggled with inadequate methods for motivating students in the classroom and addressing, for example, feelings of isolation. The shift from traditional face-to-face learning to online formats also provides an ideal opportunity to promote novel teaching approaches, such as the use of gamification. Technology-oriented teaching should benefit from closer integration with research methodologies and project-based case studies. The actions undertaken by the consortium should benefit from a multi-directional approach that offers more than the sum of individual strategies. In this way, the solutions developed and implemented gained a deeper, more comprehensive meaning. The enhanced collaboration itself was also beneficial, facilitating better integration of education systems across countries and laying the foundations for future initiatives.

โ–ถActivities

- Project meetings where the results were presented and discussed. - Teaching and learning activities: DigiMat Materials Science Summer School in Poland and DigiMat Winter Camp in the Czech Republic. These events allowed to gather feedback from the target groups - students and teachers - on the materials developed in Outputs 1, 3 and 4. Prior to the on-site camps, participants took part in online activities within the developed platform and used the platform during the camps. In total, 21 students were involved. Mentors involved in C1/C2 discussed content issues and suggested possible solutions to identified shortcomings. - Multiplier events were organised to disseminate the results and gather additional feedback. - Trial Cases lessons at each partner university - students/pupils tested the lessons on the online platform. - "Coffee workshop - activity boosters" for teachers at TUL - The final conference was held worldwide to present and promote all project results. This event also served as an opportunity to gather opinions from the scientific and educational community. - Other dissemination activities to increase understanding of the project and promote the results
