Social Entrepreneurship for the Future of Youth Work

The project addressed specific needs identified through an analysis by the project partners, including: - Lack of suitable, engaging educational methods based on real-world examples to effectively promote social entrepreneurship as an attractive career path. - Challenges young people face in the job market, exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic, such as unemployment, underemployment, low wages, and lack of development prospects. The project aimed to equip youth with entrepreneurial skills and promote sustainable development. - Shifting attitudes toward social entrepreneurship, often perceived as less innovative and less profitable. - Need to support youth workers by providing them with easy-to-use, innovative, and universal tools for working with young people. - Empowering young individuals at the start of their careers by equipping them with basic entrepreneurial skills and assisting them in making informed career decisions. The project resulted in the development of 24 educational modules, accessible to all interested parties.

The project had the following objectives: - Developing innovative educational methods by creating 24 training modules that combine non-formal education with multimedia materials showcasing social enterprises, making education on social entrepreneurship more engaging and effective. - Promoting social entrepreneurship as a viable, innovative, and growth-oriented alternative to traditional career paths. - Strengthening competencies of youth and youth workers through universal, scalable educational tools. - Supporting social cohesion and sustainable development by framing social entrepreneurship as a tool for advancing the green economy, social integration, and combating social exclusion. - Enhancing international and cross-sector collaboration by engaging NGOs, schools, businesses, and local authorities. - Raising awareness of social entrepreneurship through large-scale dissemination activities. The project also delivered lasting outcomes and established an international network of practitioners supporting youth development in this field across Europe.
