▶Objectives
The aim of our project was to educate students from partner countries to apply ecological principles and behaviors according to the 3R paradigm (reducing, reusing and recycling), for a sustainable development, in accordance with European priorities supported by Erasmus+ projects. The objectives of the project were: O1. The acquisition of conscious civic attitudes about the importance of climate change and sustainable environmental development by 48 students by applying the 3R paradigm until August 31, 2023; O2. Development of scientific and technical knowledge and skills for quality ecological education in sustainable environmental protection to at least 80% of direct and indirect beneficiaries by the end of the project; O3. Personal development, self-esteem, critical thinking, creativity, as well as interdisciplinary cooperation by 48 students until August 31, 2023. O4. Learning "coexistence" by cultivating communication skills, as well as respect for the values and cultural characteristics of other partners, by 48 students and 12 teachers until August 31, 2023.
▶Activities
Within the project, 4 learning, teaching and training activities took place, each activity having a topic (reducing, reusing, recycling and saving energy). Each activity had preparatory and follow-up activities, according to the project implementation plan, agreed by the partners. As part of LTT-Reducing, we held interactive seminars with specialists from the Environmental Protection Agency and universities from Iasi, a guided study at the botanical garden, experiments at a water treatment station, informative presentations, informal meetings with local authorities and free discussions on ecological themes, practical workshops for reducing waste and planting trees and flowers. In LTT-Reusing we held creative workshops on the theme of waste reuse, interactive presentations, study cases with environmental experts, statistics on reuse at home and at school, study meeting to a garbage platform. In LTT-Recycling there were interactive presentations, debates on the topic of recycling, observations and study cases. In LTT-Energy Saving, interactive presentations, studies on energy consumption, experiments, a seminar at the university, study cases at power plants, at Expo 2021 and interactive workshops.
▶Impact
Activities such as interactive seminars, debates, experiments, workshops, combined with the information sessions of experts helped to achieve the project objectives. Virtual cooperation mixed with face to face activities made it possible to achieve the highest quality. The use of modern digital technology and English language has led to improved skills in these areas, both among project participants and other beneficiary groups. The European dimension of the project made the achieved results to reach to a larger number of beneficiaries, and through the dissemination activities we ensure their sustainability. All the project results are posted on open educational platforms and will be used by others. The concrete outputs of our project were: recyclable and reusable material products; exhibitions with the products made within the project; 5 brochures; 4 leaflets; 2 flyers; 2 websites; Facebook page and group; Instagram page; a blog; 2 newsletters; 2 magazines; 1 educational support for green activities; 4 articles in specialized magazines; a booklet; presentations; 1 open educational resources; a story; a manifest letter; posters; 220 certificates of participation; 60 Europass certificates. All the results are published on EPRP.
