We followed some valuable ideas: - Promote human rights, tolerance values, equal opportunities, democracy, active citizenship and solidarity in our school - Increase international understanding and cooperation - Promote the principles of the European Union and European citizenship among our students,no matter their social and family background - Promote European values and the strength of European identity - Promote culture and traditions - Create a meaningful international context for peer learning - Promote a culture of equality, respect and tolerance among the students who are prone to bullying, discrimination and violence - Enable teachers to address violence, bullying and discrimination at the institutional level - Develop a long-term common violence prevention strategy - Facilitate equal chances in inclusion of disadvantaged students - Use the English language with ease and self-confidence

โ–ถActivities

-Opening ceremony -Friendship and cooperation - a good alternative to bullying -Overpassing vulnerabilities. Examples of good practices. Stereotypes -Together for Equality- bracelets, masks, posters for posterity -Diversity in languages- learning new languages through English -Sport for unity in diversity - videos and competition with prizes -Violence OUT, Tolerance IN โ€“ symposium competition. Videos created by students -Me and You โ€“ different, but together! - group activities with a special guest : a psychologist -The power is in my choice โ€“ making plaster casts, using the hands of the students of the 3 countries -Stereotypical thinking in the workplace โ€“ a visit to Vrancart S.A. -Workshop and activities with the members of the theatre -Empathy and Tolerance โ€“ Intercultural competencies and interpersonal communication. Drawing and painting -Sharing Values: mini-puppet theatre -School safety and security - activities with the Police Department of School Safety and Security -The Trees of Tolerance and Respect โ€“ planting trees -Stories behind the shadow -shadowshow: Hatred turned into Love -Cultural and artistic program - Messages with a difference:: traditional costumes, traditional dances, international and traditional dances.

โ–ถImpact

Concrete outputs: A public facebook page of the project, with over 1000 followers, where the visitors can see the full history of how the project developed. The descriptions of the activities are accompanied by pictures/ videos. Cardboard sheets executed by students, containing messages anti-vviolence and anti-bullying, exhibited in the local library Badges worn by our students all over, in order to transmit the message of the project: Violence OUT, Tolerance IN T-shirts printed with anti-violence messages A public youtube video with interviews and project descriptions A huge banner (12 metres) at the entrance of the highschool 2 roll-ups exhibited permanently at the entrance of the school buildings Behavioural outputs: 40% fewer conflicts with physical violence registered in our school 50% less school leaving 30% less failure in education More pro-tolerance volunteering actions from our students (financial and food support for the rroma children) Our students are more committed to taking part to any activity involving students' participation (They admitted that they loved cooperating with teachers and other students during the Erasmus project activities) Support for the social inclusion of students with fewer opportunities
