In the "INNOVATION AS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR YOUNG IMMIGRANT WOMEN" (INLIKE) project, we identified a range of specific needs and formulated the project's objectives in line with these, to support social inclusion and gender equality through the use of information and communication technology (ICT). The needs are: 1. Improving access to technology for young immigrant women, recognizing that this demographic can face significant barriers in accessing ICT, which are essential for their full participation in modern society; 2. Developing digital skills and strengthening the autonomy of young immigrant women through educational and training programs, aimed at facilitating their professional and personal integration in host countries. 3. Increasing awareness and sensitivity regarding specific gender issues faced by young immigrant women in the use of ICT, including discrimination and lack of representation; 4. Encouraging the participation and involvement of young immigrant women in the development of technological and innovative solutions, thus promoting gender equality in technological fields and in STEM sectors (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics).

The internet and new technologies have taken a central place in our everyday lives, which is why it was necessary to promote the use and access to this digital environment for all citizens. The European Union and various administrations of member countries have promoted the use of ICT by youth as a means to facilitate their inclusion in the labor market and participation in politics. The main objective of our project was to support and promote the use of ICT from a gender perspective. Therefore, we presented a project based on three specific objectives:Specific Objective 1: Improving the quality of services related to support for immigrant adolescents by partner organizations of the project. This was achieved through the exchange of best practices on overcoming gender differences in the use of digital technologies and access to the internet.Specific Objective 2: Enhancing skills related to the use of digital technologies from a gender perspective for 20 youth workers.Specific Objective 3: Promoting the implementation of these best practices by creating a European-level network. A very important tool in achieving this goal was developed.

During the project, various activities were carried out, including:Project Management: This involved the planning, implementation, and coordination of project activities by partners. A procedure for supervising and coordinating the project was established, with regular meetings between partners.Training Activity (Training Course): This consisted of preparing youth workers, youth leaders, and volunteers, focusing on developing skills regarding the use of digital technologies by immigrant adolescent women and on best practices in gender equality in access to such technologies.Transnational Partners Meeting: This meeting aimed to strengthen cooperation among project partners and coordinate activities. The meeting took place in Zaragoza and were present 2 representants from each partner(8 persons)Local Multiplication and Dissemination Activities: These activities included disseminating the project's results and raising awareness among the public and other organizations about the objectives and outcomes of the project. Each meeting was attended by at least 15 people from the target group, youth workers and civil society representatives. These activities contributed to achieving the project's objectives and promoting inclusion .

Development of Training Course Support: One of the most significant outcomes was the creation and implementation of a training course for youth workers, youth leaders, and volunteers. This course covered topics such as the use of digital technology by immigrant adolescent women and promoting gender equality in access to technology. Creation of a Collaborative Platform: The development of a collaborative platform was another key result. This platform facilitated the exchange of information, resources, and best practices among partner organizations and other stakeholders. Formulation of a Management Plan: An effective management plan was created and implemented to ensure that the project was executed efficiently, adhering to established deadlines and budgets. This plan helped coordinate activities and ensured that all aspects of the project were properly managed. Implementation of a Dissemination Plan: The dissemination plan ensured that the achievements and lessons learned within the project were widely distributed. Through dissemination and multiplication activities, the project succeeded in increasing awareness and sensitivity.
