The main purpose of this project was to make young people start thinking critically and with tolerant attitudes about environmental degradation and to encourage them to become active factors of environmental protection, acting and modifying their own lifestyle as well as that of people in community. project activities leaded to creation environmentally aware European and global citizens feeling the responsibility for the nature and for humans’ health, creation of sustainable attitudes about protecting the environment, raised awareness for students on environmental problems and actions which have to be undertaken from the perspective of people living in different European areas. Students became aware of the fact that they can make a significant contribution to a sustainable environment and lifestyle, to ensure better living conditions in the future, by acting and changing their own lifestyle as well as that of those around them and by promoting the values needed to raise committed European conscious citizens. Students developed IT and language skills by creating and using the Green Deal Toolkit (webquests, quizzes, vlogs, podcasts), the project website, during the project activities.

All the activities mentioned above had the following final products and results: -the project website https://did-clio.net/let'sGoGreen/ -the eTwinning platform was used to share the outputs of the project's activities https://twinspace.etwinning.net/178984/home -teachers from each partner school designed webquests to celebrate the environmental days that are scheduled globally throughout the year, in order to draw attention to the effects of living in a polluted, dirty environment full of toxic substances -an eco garden and a sensory path were created in each partner school (an effective way not only to connect students to nature and improve their respect for the environment, but also to provide them with a wealth of learning opportunities and to develop a wide range of skills (sciences, arts, mathematics etc) -a Green Deal Toolkit for teaching purposes, which contains webquests related to the 6 project topics; interactive quizzes developed by students, focusing on the 6 topics covered throughout the project (Kahoots), Hall of Fame: examples of successful environmental projects from the 6 partner countries (routes, eco-farms, school projects, young people who made important strides to protect the environment, environmentally friendly local initiatives), Sway presentations created by students.
