▶Objectives
objective - improving knowledge, skills, competences, training skills and work habits through formal, non-formal and informal teaching and learning activities for 90 students from 5 partner countries during 2 years, in the field of environmental protection education, with the aim of raising awareness environmental problems. - the development of pedagogical skills and competences for carrying out formal and non-formal activities in the field of environmental protection for 55 teachers from 5 partner countries during 2 years with the aim of implementing educational activities in the schools where they come from. Specific objectives - awareness of the importance of environmental protection for 90 students by the end of the project; - increasing the level of information about environmental protection among 145 participants until the end of the project; - development of organizational capacity and team cooperation for 145 participants until the end of the project; - improvement/development of language skills for 145 participants by the end of the project; - development of IT, scientific and technological skills, promotion of multilingualism and tolerance towards other cultures, religions, traditions among 90 participants during 2 years
▶Activities
The planned activities have been carried out. The project's activities included workshops, interactive lessons, study visits, outdoor activities, exchange of best practices, power point presentations on the topic of environmental protection, both formal and non-formal and informal activities as well as job shadowing activities. During the learning/teaching/training activities, students worked together in one of the partner schools. School cooperation within the partnership also included joint online and local activities. The need of the target group is correlated with the project objectives, activities, results. For students in the target group of the project, the project aimed to increase awareness of environmental issues, improve knowledge in the field of environmental protection, improve language and communication skills, increase self-confidence and self-esteem through the development of various skills, improving IT skills, motivation learning foreign languages, improving knowledge about partner countries and their culture, improving social and civic skills. The project also helped to educate students for sustainable development, changing their behavior in terms of saving energy in their daily lives, reinforcing the education dimension by developing the necessary skills for continuous training and promoting European citizenship and environmental responsibility. The project's activities brought added value to European educational projects previously implemented in our schools. The implementation of the project had a positive aspect social impact on target groups and local communities. The students of the partner schools are more open to socio-economic issues, they shared ideas and concepts about the European dimension. Student participation in the project led to improved language learning, motivation for information and documentation, self-confidence and self-awareness. The project was useful because it added value to the education process, allowing students to better assimilate the concepts of environmental protection, develop language skills.
