โถObjectives
The primary objective of the DIS-employability project was to provide disabled individuals with essential employability skills, primarily focusing on developing critical thinking abilities. By enhancing these skills, we aimed to facilitate their inclusion in the labor market. Our goal extended beyond skill-building to address systemic barriers and discriminatory practices, fostering a more inclusive environment. Ultimately, the project aimed to empower disabled individuals to compete equally in the job market and contribute meaningfully to society.
โถActivities
Learning, Teaching, Training Activity (LTTA): Through workshops, seminars, and interactive sessions, youth workers exchanged expertise and best practices in fostering critical thinking skills among disabled individuals. Additionally, as part of our commitment to piloting project outcomes, this activity served as a platform for testing the training format proposed in Project Result 1. Local activities: Five local activities were organized, one by each partner, based on the learnings from the LTTA. These activities were tailored to the specific needs of the 3 types of target group (physical disability, intellectual disability, and typical youngsters), ensuring relevance and effectiveness. Multiplier events: A total of five multiplier events were held, one by each partner. These events served as platforms for disseminating project outcomes, sharing insights, and engaging stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
