Objectives

Raising awareness about specific needs of students in communication, the importance of knowledge of students’ diversity and the significance of inclusion is one of project’s top goals. One of the objectives was developing literacy and communication skills through combining travel writing and movement, our next goal was to develop communication skills curricula by employing knowledge about sign languages for online/classroom communication skills courses. Due to specific rules in sign communication, we included non-verbal communication in general and raising awareness about specifics of sign languages. Our next goal was enhancing writing skills as the core of successful education and business, and if they are developed and enhanced successfully, this is beneficial for the overall development of the communities, especially underprivileged rural communities. Our goals were also to further develop reading, writing, social, digital and intercultural skills, to create a partnership that will be inclusive and disseminate the results of the project successfully on the local, regional, national and international levels; to support teachers and students of HEI. Focus was on the creation of flexible, creative and active learning paths.
