▶Objectives
The DISYOU Project aimed to equip young social entrepreneurs with the critical digital entrepreneurship skills necessary to thrive in the increasingly digital global economy. Recognizing the potential of digitalization to add approximately $13 trillion to the global economic output by 2030, as forecasted by the McKinsey Global Institute, this project saw to enhance the digital competencies of these young leaders, enabling them to effectively navigate the complexities of the modern marketplace and drive innovation. Additionally, the project emphasized the cultivation of social responsibility, aiming to foster a generation of entrepreneurs who not only pursue economic success but also prioritize societal impact. By enhancing the employability of young people and promoting a mindset geared towards sustainable development, the DISYOU Project supported the trend of young entrepreneurs hiring their peers, thereby boosting employment, social cohesion and digitalization. Furthermore, the project aligned with broader European Union goals by encouraging youth participation in EU-funded projects, thus facilitating access to valuable resources and networks that can amplify the reach and impact of their ventures.
