▶Objectives
The main objective was to design a structured, pedagogically sound, and industry-aligned practical training curriculum for aircraft maintenance engineer (AME) candidates. We aimed to create a Practical Training Task (PTT) Book by identifying representative practical tasks for key EASA Part-66 modules (7, 11, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17), supported with detailed execution methods, tool lists, worksheets, training needs analysis (TNA), and evaluation forms. We also wanted to build a web-based platform to ensure that educators, maintenance engineers, and organizations could continuously suggest new tasks and improvements, keeping the curriculum up to date with industry needs. Beyond producing better-trained graduates, we sought to establish stronger collaboration between educational institutions and the aviation maintenance industry, positively impacting the employability and readiness of AME students across Europe and Türkiye.

We produced an Industry Needs Report, a Practical Training Task Book, a Training Needs Analysis Book, a Worksheet Book, a Practical Assessment Book, a Follow-up Report, and launched a web platform to keep the curriculum updated with industry inputs.
