We want young people to improve their reading skills. We want to enable the acquisition of effective reading strategies among pupils aged 8 and over. We have created a collection of reading sheets (texts + questionnaires) allowing young people and adults to strengthen their reading comprehension via short and attractive texts. We want these readings, in their content, to be vectors of equal opportunities, women's rights and vectors of inclusion of diversity.

We mainly carried out project management and production activities: * creation of editing software, * writing a guide, a text processing procedure * selection of texts, * contact with authors/publishers, * writing more than 2000 questions, * formatting of 177 texts, * production of questionnaires, * illustration production, * computer encoding, * distribution of the collection.

We have produced a free collection of 177 texts in French accompanied by multiple choice questions allowing self-correction. The set is downloadable and printable by everyone. 105 narrative texts and 72 informative texts are offered on 6 difficulty levels. Each text: * clarifies complicated vocabulary words * numbers the lines to facilitate referencing by the teacher (“search between lines 30 and 35”) and enable search questions in the text, * offers a prediction question, a summary question, a research question, multiple choice questions and vocabulary questions on highlighted words in the text. Many questions develop prediction and inference skills. To offer maximum possibilities for differentiation and empowerment, young people can choose their reading according to six levels and will be able to self-correct thanks to the corrections. To ensure consistency across such a large number of texts, we have produced bespoke editing software, as well as a writing/production guide.
