▶Objectives
Project goals: 1. Educating students about climate change, initiating recycling or energy/water projects. 2. Improve knowledge about sustainability among 1,500 people, including employees and local communities. 3. Develop an open educational resource with materials for teachers that impact education professionals. 4. Improve ICT, language and cross-sector skills of 1,000 students in various fields. 5. Disseminate success stories to inspire environmental action and outdoor learning in schools. 6. Motivating participation in citizen climate programs to instill values of responsibility. Development of key competencies: 1. Motivating participants to improve English language for better communication. 2. Enabling teachers to improve their communication and ICT skills through online sessions. 3. Engaging students in presentations to improve communication and ICT skills.
▶Activities
- Online meetings and Whats app groups were used during the whole Project. "Teachers Climate Guide" - C1 in DK: - Conducting workshops, presentations, logo design, cultural visits. Visit a robot manufacturer. Visit at Experimentarium and Copenhill, Expert lectures on a mobile satellite receiver. Visit at Odense City Hall. Workshop on questions for a visit by a local politician, visit by local politician. Print on t-shirts. Planting 6 apple trees in the school yard. - C2 in TR: - Nature and cultural visits and forest-related activities were carried out. The trees were planted together with the project partners. Planting 250 trees. Lecture on Ebru Art.The Endemic Museum and other cultural and natural sites. A short project film was made. Organic farms, greenhouses and community gardens were visited. Writing of creative slogans. Sprout of Avocado seeds. Visiting a Mosque. - C3 in ES: - workshops: Making soap, making paper, fermentation - Marmalade, yogurt, sauerkraut. Prepared herbarium, cultural visits in Madrid, a large natural park, a citizen's garden and a great compost plant and a Monastery. Guided tour at the local Nuclear Safety Center. Making presentations on recycling, reduction and reuse. Visit by Expert lecturer.
