Objectives

As we stated in the project, in order to promote healthy lifestyles, we would address the following specific objectives: • Promote culinary knowledge and skills that ensure healthy diets. • Raise awareness of the benefits of a healthy, active life in connection with nature among the educational community. • Exchange good practices internationally in order to strengthen cooperation and understanding ties. • Offer multicultural contexts to encourage learning foreign languages ​​and to live experiences that, otherwise, would be difficult in the countries of origin. • Finally, the promotion of outdoor activities and contact with nature in an environment of respect and protection should also contribute to the curricular acquisition of the sustainable development objectives (SDGs) that must be addressed across all subjects of the curriculum. As schools, we are especially committed to the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development at a global level.

Activities

Each of the activities has focused on a specific aspect: happy lifestyles and return to nature (in Spain), healthy eating (in Turkey) and healthy body and mind (in Poland). In all cases, the same development scheme has been followed: knowing and sharing healthy lifestyles typical of the host culture, which arouse he participants` interest in a healthier life and more connected to the environment and nature, as well as learning the traditional gastronomic culture with a high nutritional value. To do so, priority has been given to: • Outdoor sports practice • Sports competitions and team building • Creation of a garden of aromatic and medicinal plants • Healthy cooking workshop with traditional products • Survey and Analysis of healthy lifestyle habits • Creation of a multilingual dictionary • Making videos with traditional and healthy recipes from the three countries • Eu Food Fair with local products from the three countries with participation of families and local authorities • Preparation of brochures (lapbooks) on sports and healthy habits • Attendance at conferences on “Health and well-being” • Cultural visits to the historical city centre of the three cities • Dissemination activities

Impact

Among all the products and results which result from the project, we would like to highlight: • the official website of the project where an attempt has been made to capture not only the activities carried out, but also the personal and subjective experiences of the participants, as well as the learning that has been derived. • The eTwinning page where the project is made known and its dissemination is encouraged. • Logo and mascot to unite and make the project visible and known. • Various dissemination and merchandising materials: sweatshirts, t-shirts, water bottles... • Promotional poster of the project to decorate the school’s Erasmus corner. • Cooking and medicinal plants garden. • Multilingual food dictionary prepared by students from the three countries. • Sports and healthy lifestyle brochures. • Videos of recipes of typical and healthy meals from each one of the countries. • Presentations on healthy life, healthy habits and connection with nature.
