European Seniors Together (EST)
▶Summary
Encouraging the transfer of practices from the most experienced associations to new associations in Eastern Europe or to encourage the transformation of an association model that needed new ideas.
▶Objectives
Encouraging the transfer of practices from the most experienced associations to new associations in Eastern Europe or to encourage the transformation of an association model that needed new ideas.
▶Activities
The creation and operation of associations of senior experts. Discovering mentoring as it is practised in Germany and France, and how to get organised to find funding. Presentation of e-mage me intervention tools (revealing skills through feedback), how to support start-ups. The use of LinkedIn and the Pitch video presentation.
▶Impact
By the end of the project, associations had been set up by our partners in Eastern Europe and initial mentoring schemes had been developed. The Italian partners took an interest in the e-mage me application and obtained an Italian version from its creators. It is being used in Turin. The German partners are also going to use it in the VerA programme. The Italians are also interested in supporting young entrepreneurs.
