Objectives

Our project equipped teachers with self-efficacy, competencies, and tools to impart entrepreneurial skills to students. It fostered readiness for entrepreneurial education, enabling teachers to readily apply innovative principles in their classrooms. DE-THINK aimed to empower teachers to integrate a structured, easy-to-implement entrepreneurship program into their courses by teaching them to use our toolkit practically. Our approach advocated a shift from viewing educators as mere knowledge providers to becoming coaches and facilitators. This ensured student engagement, increased inclusiveness, and enhanced learning retention. DETHINK aimed to shift the role of educators from “imparters of knowledge” to “coaches and facilitators,” increasing student engagement and inclusiveness. The approach is pragmatic, offering a structured process and a toolkit that is relevant, right-sized, and easy to digest, allowing teachers to customize it to their specific context. To promote a design thinking approach emphasizing empathy, problem identification, and solution generation through iterative stages.
