▶Objectives
LOutUS aimed at: Increase knowledge and know-how on sustainable/slow fashion among VET learners and youth - raising awareness about climate change. Improve the technical skills to elongate the life of garments or upcycle them - teaching them how to upcycle old clothes. Offer young people a space and context to bond with local and international experts and peers, improving their employability opportunities, and promoting the development of new consumption patterns – giving them the opportunity to enhance their creativity by learning from others’ best practices. Create a dialogue between students and citizens, with the aim of intentional contamination, while offering the students a hands-on experience, complementary to the theoretical formation – enabling them to understand, in practice, what are the obstacles that prevent people from consuming sustainably. Increase the participating organisations' capacity to seize the opportunities for European cooperation – by implementing a project that merged the complementary expertise of the partners. Increase project management capacities of participating organisations – sharing responsibilities according to each partner’s expertise
