▶Objectives
The VOLATE project was aimed at entities involved in educational support activities for the primary school students in small communities characterized by educational poverty, such as rural areas and peripheral urban areas. The aim of the project was to improve the quality of support teaching carried out by teachers/educators and volunteers by improving the analysis of the context , the training needs of the staff and the planning skills of interventions to combat educational poverty. The main objectives achieved by the project were the following: - having provided operators with easy-to-use tools for the analysis of the local educational context and the detection of their own training needs, a correct assessment of special educational needs and the design, planning and evaluation of effective interventions against educational poverty. - having started a "Peer Learning" Community as a place for discussion and exchange of good practices and with a training offer made up of videos and materials produced "by peers" (teaching staff and volunteers).
