Objectives

The overarching aim of implementing the project was to catalyze a transformative shift in secondary education, particularly through the empowerment of guidance teachers. Our objective was to equip these educators with the knowledge, skills, and methodologies necessary to not only understand but also effectively champion the principles outlined in the European Green Deal. By enhancing their capacity in areas such as environmental awareness, climate change mitigation, and the promotion of green practices, we aimed to cultivate a cadre of leaders within the educational community. Through this initiative, we sought to foster a culture of sustainability and environmental stewardship among students, preparing them for future careers that prioritize ecological responsibility. Moreover, our intention was to spark a ripple effect that would extend beyond the classroom, influencing families and communities to embrace the ideals of the European Green Deal. Ultimately, the project aimed to serve as a catalyst for systemic change within secondary education, propelling us toward a future where environmental consciousness is not only prioritized but also integrated into every facet of society.
