Objectives

We ́ll Work VET aimed to propose a reflection on Work Based Learning Activities involving students, teachers and companies from VET offers from all the schools of the partnership. The main objectives defined were: - Involve VET students and staff in international school activities and enhance the internationalisation of VET offers; - Disseminate best practices in Schools and in Companies/Institutions for Work Based Learning; - Exchange and discuss Main European Quality Standards applied to VET, namely of EQAVET and ECVET. - Contribute to the enhancement of VET social image; - Contribute to improving teaching through internationalisation and the opportunities associated with mobility; - Produce structured knowledge on Work Based Learning best practices; - Disseminate the knowledge produced; - Create a network of partnerships for Work Based Learning in Mobility; - Involve all VET stakeholders in the teaching-learning process and strengthen the role of companies and institutions in VET; - Contribute to the internationalisation of all schools involved; - Establish a strong and sustainable partnership among all partners.

Activities

- A1 - Kick-off Meeting with all international partners. This activity was carried out in November 2022, in Chemnitz, Germany and was attended by the contact person and the legal representative of each partner school. - A2 Mobility Event in Portugal – Teachers Mobility, carried out in january 2023 in Guimarães, Portugal, during 5 working days. Was hosted by the coordinator partner Escola Secundária Francisco de Holanda and attended by the other partners. - A3.1 Mobility event in Italy - Students Mobility in Nicolosi Italy and A3.2 Mobility Event in Germany - Students Mobility in Chemnitz, Germany. Held in March 2023 and involved students and teachers associated with the project from all the partner schools; and partner companies. - A4 Mobility Event in Portugal, held in october 2023, hosted by Escola Secundária de Felgueiras and attended by the other partners. A5 Handbooks Release Event, occurred in March 2024 in Guimarães. The main event of this mobility activity was the launch of the Good Practices on Work Based Learning on VET handbook. Other activities: Online Meetings, Etwinning Project; Site; Dissemination on classical media and social networks.

Impact

As published on the Erasmus+ Project Results Platform, the final products resulting from WWVET were: - Work Based Learning Good Practices Handbook (printed and digital version); - Opinion article published in the Público newspaper (a nationally distributed newspaper in Portugal); - Project website; - Network of Partnerships Other Outcomes: - Discussions and Focus Group on EQAVET Methodology Quality Cicle Quality criteria and indicative descriptors Reference Indicators Advantages for VET Quality Assessment and Warranty. - Discussions on ECVET Documents and tools (now integrated on EQAVET) - Consolidation of the internationalisation of the VET offers of the schools involved.
